Starting quarterback fully prepared to deliver a standout senior campaign behind center . . . Owns extraordinary athletic talent and is a proven leader in the huddle . . . Classic pocket quarterback with the ability to connect on a high percentage of his passes and move the football down the field . . . Has experienced a tremendous amount of success on the field and is poised to end is career in style and contend for postseason recognition.
  

2006: Started at quarterback in all 11 games and threw for 1,689 yards and 11 touchdowns in 288 passing attempts, the seventh-best passing season in UCO history . . . Completed 19-of-30 passes for 228 yards and a pair of touchdown tosses in victory over Eastern New Mexico to be named LSC North Division Offensive Player of the Week . . . Scorched East Central for a season-high 255 passing yards and added touchdown strikes of 39 and 73 yards while running for his lone rushing score of the season . . . Threw for over 200 yards and four occasions and connected on over 50 percent of his passes in eight games . . . Completed at least one pass for a gain of more than 30 yards during eight different contests . . . Scrambled for season-long run of 31 yards in victory over Northwestern Oklahoma.  

Juco:
Spent one season at Scottsdale (Ariz.) Community College, throwing for 1,322 yards and eight touchdowns in eight games to earn All-Conference honors.

 

Arizona: Redshirted in 2002 and then appeared in five games with one start the following season . . . Hit 33-of-78 passes for 341 yards and two touchdowns in 2003 while also lettering in basketball for the Wildcats . . . Left school after his brother (Dustin) had a kidney transplant.

 

High School: Prep star at John Muir High School in Pasadena, Calif., passing for 4,900 yards and 43 touchdowns in his career to earn All-League honors three times . . . Played in California-Florida All-Star Game following his senior season . . . Also a two-time All-League pick in basketball.

 

Personal: A general studies major . . . Enjoys video games and bowling among his top hobbies . . . Names Tom Brady as his favorite athlete . . .Birthdate is Sept. 1, 1983.
