Biography

Sophomore wide receiver returning to the field after missing last year to injury . . . Gained a hardship ruling to retain a year of eligibility after suffering early-season foot injury last fall . . . Lettered in a back-up role as a true freshman in 2008 and should get plenty of playing time this year.

2008:   Didn’t appear in the first five games as a potential redshirt before playing the final six games, but didn’t catch a pass.

High School:   Three-year starter at Altus High School . . . All-District and Class 5A All-Star as a senior after catching 50 passes for 815 yards and eight TDs . . . Also an All-Conference pick in basketball and a track letterman.

Personal:  A kinesiology major . . . Has four relatives who played college football, including his father (Dewey) and a cousin (Bear), who was a four-year letterman for UCO in the 1990s . . . Birthdate is Nov. 21, 1989.
