Senior veteran set to anchor the defensive line this fall . . . Tremendous athletic talent who possesses unlimited ability on the football field . . . 2006: Started at tackle all season finished as team’s eighth-leading tackler with 38 stops . . . Added seven tackles for loss and tallied two and a half sacks for a total of 20 yards lost . . . Turned in a season-high mark of six tackles against Texas A&M-Commerce and notched multiple stops in all but two games played.

Juco: Enjoyed a stellar two-year career at Jones Junior College, earning All-Conference and All-Region acclaim as a sophomore . . . Compiled 84 tackles and 10 sacks over two seasons with the Bobcats.

High School: Multi-sport star at Washington County High School in Springfield, Ky . . . Two-time All-State pick in football, finishing career with 195 tackles and 40 sacks . . . Also a two-time All-Conference selection in basketball and regional champion in the shot put.

Personal: A general studies major . . . Brother (James) played football at the University of Louisville . . . Lists Carolina Panthers star Julius Peppers as his favorite athlete . . . Birthdate is June 5, 1985.
