Biography

Senior transfer who will sit out the season . . . Came to UCO after record-setting three-year career at near-by Southern Nazarene . . . Experienced veteran with big-play ability who should make a big impact in 2014.

SNU:  Three-year standout for the Crimson Storm, setting career records for interceptions (16) and interception return yards (217) . . . First-team All-Central States Football League choice as a freshman in 2010 after recording 99 tackles -- including a school-record 59 unassisted stops -- and tying a school mark with eight interceptions, which ranked fourth in NAIA . . . Had 66 tackles with five interceptions in 2011 to repeat as first-team All-CSFL pick, setting single-season school records for interception return yards (136) and interception touchdowns (two) . . . Made 72 tackles, picked off three passes and recovered two fumbles last year, returning one of those 75 yards for a touchdown.

High School:  Prep standout at El Reno High School, finishing career with 187 tackles, 16 interceptions and three fumble recoveries . . . District 5A-2 Defensive Back of the Year and a Class 5A All-Star as a senior.

Personal:  Psychology major looking to become a rehabilitation specialist or career counselor . . . Names the Tampa Bay Bucs as his top professional team . . . Lists "Gridiron Gang" as his favorite sports movie . . . Birthdate is Oct. 16, 1991.
