Biography

Junior defensive back ready to make his presence felt in the Broncho secondary ... Made a strong progression into his second year on the field, becoming a key contributor and regular in the defensive backfield ... Will be asked to step up this season and play even more, but is ready to take on the challenge and prove himself.

2017: Played in all 12 games for the Bronchos as a sophomore ... Made 30 tackles (21 solo, nine assisted) ... Proved to be a shut-down corner after making seven break-ups on the season including two in a thrilling UCO win over Emporia State ... Had a season-high six tackles twice, against ESU as well as against Nebraska-Kearney ... Made at least one tackle in 10 of 12 games and had three in the Corsicana Bowl that UCO won over Tarleton State.

2016: Played in 11 games for the Bronchos, making four starts ... Began redshirt freshman season with two tackles against Lindenwood but also added a 47-yard interception return in the game ... Went on to finish the season with 16 tackles, the one interception, and two pass break-ups ... Season-high three tackles three times (Northwest Missouri, Missouri Southern, Washburn) ... Played in all 11 games and started four.

2015: Sat out redshirt season.

High School: Two-way standout who helped lead Spiro High School to the Class 3A state playoffs as a senior, earning All-District honors at wide receiver ... Also an All-County pick in basketball and team MVP in track for the Bulldogs.

Personal: Physical education major who wants to become a coach ... Lists the Arizona Cardinals as his favorite team ... Enjoys reading as a hobby ... Names “Gridiron Gang” as his top sports movie ... Birthdate is Jan. 1, 1996.
