Senior defensive back and the front-runner to earn a starting berth at cornerback this season . . . Saw some starting duty last year and showed flashes of what he's capable of . . . A year in the system has this veteran primed for a big season and the Bronchos expect him to be one of the best defensive backs in the Lone Star Conference . . . 2004:  Missed one game to injury and made several starts in finishing with 27 tackles and a team-high nine passes broken up . . . Had season-high five tackles against Southeastern Oklahoma and made four stops vs. Tarleton State and Northeastern State . . . Broke up two passes against both Tarleton and Southwestern Oklahoma.

Juco: Played two years at Blinn Junior College.

High School: Football standout at Ozen High School in Beaumont while also lettering in basketball and track.
