Biography

Three-year letterman and converted defensive lineman who is expected to fill a starting berth on the offensive line . . . Saw part-time starting duty at guard last year after switching positions and looks to be one of the top guys at that position again this season . . . Hard-working senior veteran who will help stabilize the blocking wall.

2010: Played in every game with six starts and was a key force on a line that allowed just five sacks, second-best in the country.

2009: Appeared in six games on defense, making three tackles and adding a quarterback hurry.

2008: Gained valuable experience while playing in several games at defensive tackle, but didn’t record a tackle.

High School: All-District and Oklahoman Big All-City selection as a senior at Putnam City High School . . . Also a four-year track letterman, winning a regional discus title as a junior.

Personal: A business management major . . . Birthdate is Jan. 3, 1990.
