Returning starter slated to be one of the main running backs again this fall . . . Three-year letterman with more than 300 career carries to his credit and an established veteran who has proven he can handle the bulk of the running duties . . . Strong inside runner who is tough to bring down and also a fine receiver . . . Missed spring practice with a knee injury, but should get plenty of chances to display his abilities in 2009.Z

2008:  Played in all 11 games with nine starts and was easily the team’s leading rusher with 536 yards and eight touchdowns on 145 carries while adding 28 catches for 141 yards . . . Set career highs for carries (31) and yards (152) in wild 43-40 win over Southwest Baptist, scoring on a 25-yard run . . . Had 82 yards in 21 attempts against Southwestern Oklahoma . . . Managed 69 yards in 15 tries and scored a key eight-yard TD in 38-33 win over Midwestern State . . . Had 15 carries for 63 yards with an 18-yard scoring jaunt in victory over Texas A&M-Commerce . . . Ran for a pair of TDs in rout of East Central (two and three yards), with other scores coming against Pittsburg State (seven), Tarleton State (11) and Northeastern State (one).

2007:  Saw most of his action on special teams, making three tackles . . . Was used sparingly at tailback, picking up 40 yards on eight carries . . . Bulk of that was in late-season loss to league champion West Texas A&M with a six-carry, 32-yard effort . . . Other two carries and eight yards came in season-opening upset of Abilene Christian.

2006:  Rushed for 371 yards in 140 attempts and scored a team-leading seven touchdowns . . . Picked up 101 yards on 22 carries and had TD runs of seven, 24 and 35 yards in 31-26 win over Northwestern Oklahoma . . . Chalked up scoring runs of nine and 12 yards against Northeastern State and other two TDs came against Angelo State (five) and Southwestern Oklahoma (one).

Juco:  Redshirted at Northeastern Oklahoma A&M.

High School:  All-Conference, All-District and All-State selection at Putnam City High School . . . Also lettered in basketball and track.

Personal:  A marketing major . . . Names the Dallas Cowboys as his favorite team . . . Birthdate is June 5, 1986.
