Junior defensive back looking to be a main contributor this season . . . Has seen limited action each of the last two years, but has the ability to step in and be a factor at cornerback.

2008:  Played in two games, finishing with three tackles . . . Scored the first points of his college career in season-opener against Pittsburg State, returning a muffed extra point kick for a two-point defensive PAT in a tough 16-12 loss.

2007:  Made one tackle while playing in six games.

2006:  Sat out a redshirt year.

High School:  Had 85 tackles and five interceptions in earning All-State accolades as a senior at Muskogee High School . . . Set a school record in the 110-meter high hurdles while finishing as a state runner-up.

Personal:  An industrial safety major . . . Enjoys riding horses as a top off-field activity . . . Lists the Washington Redskins as his top professional team . . . Birthdate is Dec. 13, 1987.
