Dimitri Donald joined the Central Oklahoma football coaching staff in December 2021 and coach the tight end position group as he enters his third season, in addition to serving as the recruiting coordinator for the Bronchos.

In his first season with the Bronchos, Donald helped UCO earn a 6-5 record for its first winning season since 2018. The Bronchos also had a pair of All-MIAA honorees on the offensive side of the ball. Central posted a 5-6 record in his second season, with two more offensive players earning All-MIAA honors.

Donald came to UCO from Abilene Christian, where he spent one season as an assistant coach. He also worked with the tight end group there. Donald previously coached at Georgia Southern (2018-21) and Harding (2017-18).

Donald played college football at West Texas A&M from 2011-15. He was named team captain in 2014 and 2015 and he was part of the team that won the 2012 Lone Star Conference title and went to the NCAA Division II national semifinals.

A native of League City, Texas, Donald received his bachelor’s degree in accounting from West Texas and received his master’s degree in business administration from Harding.
