Senior defensive lineman back for a second try at his final season . . .Suffered broken hand in preseason drills last year and missed the season after undergoing surgery, earning a hardship ruling to retain a year of eligibility . . . Was impressive in spring drills and will start at a tackle spot in 2005 . . . 2004:  Received injury hardship.

2003:  Saw extensive playing time, finishing with 33 total tackles . .  . Had 4.5 tackles for loss, including 1.5 sacks . . . Opened UCO career with season-high seven tackles in win over Mesa State . . . Had a trio of four-tackle outings late in the season.

Juco/High School:  Played two years at Trinity Valley Community College for UCO head coach Chuck Langston, helping the team to a No. 5 national ranking as a sophomore . . . All-District pick as a senior at Tenaha High School . .. Also an All-District performer in basketball.

Personal:  An industrial safety major . . . Lists Warren Sapp as his favorite sports star . . . Birthdate is Aug. 1, 1983.
