Senior standout who ranks as one of the top defenders in the Lone Star Conference . . . Will be in his fourth year as a starter with the Bronchos and is set to be at free safety in 2005, having played there and at strong safety throughout his career . . . Versatile athlete with great speed and a proven performer who the Bronchos know they can depend on . . . A sure tackler with superb coverage skills who doesn't get out of position . . .Also a stalwart special teams player who has been invaluable with his play on coverage teams . . . Key leader and a team player eager to finish his career in style.

2004:  Collected 51 tackles with three interceptions, two passes broken up and a fumble recovery while starting all 10 games . . . Had six games with at least five tackles, getting a season-high 10 with an interception that led to a touchdown in narrow road loss to Texas A&M-Kingsville . . . Made seven tackles and returned an interception 36 yards to set up an easy touchdown in fourth quarter of win over East Central . . . Had six stops, including one for loss, and a career-long 63-yard interception return that led to a field goal against West Texas A&M.

2003:  Piled up a team-high 101 tackles in earning first-team All-LSC North Division recognition . . . Topped the Bronchos in both solo (42) and assisted tackles (59) while adding two interceptions, three PBUs and a fumble recovery . . . Had five games with 10-plus tackles, led by a 14-tackle effort in win over West Texas A&M . . . Had a trio of 13-tackle games (both Mesa State wins and Abilene Christian) and collected 12 stops in East Central victory . . . Interceptions came against ACU and Texas A&M-Commerce and returned a fumble 27 yards against ECU.

2002:  Enjoyed a super freshman season, finishing fourth on the team in tackles with 71 . . . Collected 29 tackles in two-game span late in the season, getting 14 against Southeastern Oklahoma then a career-high 15 the next week against Northeastern State . . . Had two interceptions, returning one 32 yards for a touchdown against Bacone . . . Other interception came in win over West Texas A&M.

2001:  Sat out redshirt year.

High School:  Two-year starter at Texas powerhouse Plano East High School . . . Second-team All-District pick as a junior after collecting 110 tackles and a first-team selection as a senior after totaling 100 tackles with five interceptions . . . Also lettered in baseball, basketball and track.

Personal:  A management and information systems major . . . Has six older siblings . . . Enjoys mentoring children  among his hobbies . . . Lists Ray Lewis as his favorite sports star . . . Birthdate is July 8, 1983.
