Senior letterman expected to see plenty of action in 2009 . . . Will be used mainly in middle relief, but is capable of starting if needed . . . Lanky right-hander with a deceptive delivery and an experienced veteran ready to help . . . Played two years at Lone Star Conference rival East Central before coming to UCO last year.

2008:  Pitched in 12 games with one start, going 0-2 with a save and a 5.12 earned run average . . . Struck out 12 and walked seven in 19 1/3 innings while allowing 13 runs (11 earned) . . . Picked up save against Southwestern Oklahoma, striking out the final batter to preserve a 12-11 win . . . Went a season-high 3 2/3 innings in lone start against Ouachita Baptist.

ECU:  Spent three years with the Tigers, redshirting one year and then seeing limited action the next two seasons . . . Was 1-3 with a 7.98 ERA as a sophomore.

High School:  Three-sport star at Shawnee High School . . . Earned All-Conference honors on the diamond as a senior and finished with a 15-1 career record . . . Also an All-Stater in football and All-Conference in basketball.

Personal:  A general studies major . . . Names Dwyane Wade as his favorite athlete . . . Birthdate is March 13, 1985.
