Biography

Junior transfer and the front-runner to be the main first baseman in 2011 . . . Left-handed hitter who could be a prime offensive weapon for the Bronchos . . . Tough, hard-nosed newcomer looking to make an impact.

Juco:  Played the last two years at Cowley County (Kan.) Community College, helping lead the Tigers to 86 wins in that span . . . Batted .311 with 10 doubles and 23 runs batted in as a freshman and then was an honorable mention All-Jayhawk East Conference pick last year after hitting .370 with 14 doubles, three home runs and 44 RBI . . . Was also an Academic All-American as a sophomore.

High School:  Three-sport star (baseball, basketball and football) at Washington High School.

Personal:  A kinesiology major . . . Enjoys hunting and fishing as his main hobbies . . . Birthdate is April 5, 1989.
