Biography

Senior standout set to handle the second base duties once again this spring . . . Ended the 2011 season in spectacular fashion and will be a mainstay for the Bronchos, both at the plate and in the field . . . Defensive whiz who can make all the plays and will also be a key offensive weapon . . . Battled injury problems his first year at UCO, but stayed healthy last season and is ready to end his career with a bang.

2011:  Ended the season with a 13-game hitting streak to finish with a .363 average that included a team-high 17 doubles, four home runs, two triples and 32 runs batted in . . . Played in 43 of UCO's 47 games with 42 starts, all coming at second . . . Had seven of his 13 multi-hit games during the season-ending hitting streak, batting a sizzling .473 (26-for-55) during that stretch with seven doubles, two homers, 12 RBI and 20 runs scored in raising his average 58 points . . . Was also perfect in the field in that 13-game span with no errors in 57 chances and finished with a stellar .977 fielding percentage that included only four errors and a team-leading 96 assists . . . Went 5-for-5 and scored three runs in 11-8 win over Cameron and had a 4-for-5, three-run, three-RBI outing in 15-9 victory over Northeastern State.

2010:  Played in 21 games with 17 starts while missing extended time to injury . . . Started seven games at second base, six at shortstop, one in right field and one at designated hitter . . . Ended with a .313 average that included three doubles and nine RBI . . . Had seven multi-hit games, highlighted by a 3-for-5 outing in win over top-ranked Emporia State . . . Put together an early-season six-game hitting streak, hitting .409 (9-for-22) during that stretch.

Juco:  Played one year at Seminole State College, hitting .348.

High School:  Baseball-football star at Shawnee High School.

Personal:  A business management major . . . Father (Billy) played football at Southeastern Oklahoma . . . Birthdate is June 11, 1989.
