Biography

Senior sidearm hurler looking to continue valuable role in the Broncho pitching staff ... Was a key reliever for UCO last season after sitting out a redshirt-year in 2016 ... Gives the Bronchos the opportunity to throw different looks at opposing hitters and mix-up the rotation ... Transferred to UCO from Redlands Community College in El Reno after playing for two seasons there.

2017: Made 13 appearances for the Bronchos last season ... Struck out 14 batters in 11 2/3 innings pitched out of the bullpen ... Only walked eight in those appearances ... Came on in relief in the fourth inning and struck out 1 of 2 batters in the season-opener against Arkansas-Monticello, and picked up his first and only win of the season.

JUCO: Saw limited action as a freshman and then pitched in 21 games for the Cougars last year, striking out 25 in 23 1/3 innings and earning one save.

High School: Two-time All-District pick at Chisholm High School ... Also earned All-District honors in football as a senior for the Longhorns.

Personal: Management information systems major who made Vice-President’s Honor Roll at Redlands ... Enjoys golf as a hobby ... Names the Oklahoma City Thunder as his favorite team ... Lists “Coach Carter” as his top sports movie ... Birthdate is April 10, 1995.
