Biography

Senior infielder and all-conference caliber player ready to wrap up a solid career with the Bronchos ... Given fifth year following 2020's shutdown ... Helped team to 17-3 record last season and a No. 12 national ranking ... Is a solid glove and doesn't make many mistakes in the field ... Can play either second base or third base and is great with the glove at either spot ... Helped UCO set a Division II record for single season fielding percentage and is aimed at continuing high level of play this season ... Is also a solid bat in the lineup and should find himself there day-in and day-out ... Can scatter the ball all over the field and has power to drive it too ... Transferred to UCO from Eastern Oklahoma before junior season.

2020: Played in all 20 games for the Bronchos in first senior season and started every one of them ... Hit .346 with a .487 slugging percentage to go with his .432 on-base percentage ... Had 27 hits in 78 at bats, including seven for extra bases ... Hit five doubles and two home runs ... Drove in 15 runs and scored 20 himself ... Drew team-high 13 walks and was hit by a pitch once ... Stole four bases on four attempts ... Had a .940 fielding percentage making only three errors in the field ... Recorded a hit in 15 of 20 games ... Recorded multiple hits in eight of those 15 games ... Had three hits in a win over Northwestern Oklahoma State and had a season-high four RBIs in the game, hitting one double and one home run ... Career game against East Central in what was the last game played in shortened 2020 season for the Bronchos ... Went 5-for-5 with three RBIs and two runs scored and he drew a walk in blowout of Tigers in Ada last March ... Had a six-game hit streak ... Reached base safely in 18 of 20 games ... 2019: Played in all 58 games for the Bronchos as a junior and started every one of them ... Only player on the team that appeared in every game ... Started at third base most days with 10 starts at second base ... Boasted a .291/.406/.427 slash line ... Had a team-high 64 hits and a team-high 220 at bats ... Was second on the team with 37 runs scored ... Also had 29 RBIs ... Hit 14 doubles, two triples and four home runs ... Also drew 40 walks ... Stole 17 bases ... Had 17 multi-hit games, including three games with three hits ... Went 2-for-4 with two doubles and three RBIs in his first ever game as a Broncho against Southeastern Oklahoma State ... Was also 2-for-4 with three RBIs in a win over Northwest Missouri ... Finished season with seven multi-RBI games ... Scored mutiple runs in seven games and scored at least once in 29 games ... Had two doubles in a game twice ... Member of All-MIAA Gold Glove team ... Helped UCO to .985 fielding percentage which is a NCAA Division II record ... Had a .974 fielding percentage himself, committing only four errors all season.

JUCO: Played in 61 games as a sophomore, hitting .373 with a .476 on-base percentage and a .597 slugging percentage ... Scattered 75 hits in 201 at bats, knocking a team-high 18 doubles ... Also had seven homers and three triples ... Scored 67 runs and knocked in 57 RBIs ... Played in 51 games as a freshman, hitting .333/.445/.473 ... Had 55 hits, 42 RBIs, and scored 51 runs.

High School: All-State selection out of Bishop Kelley High School in Tulsa, Okla. ... Made three straight trips to the state tournament ... Hit over .450 in high school.
