Senior left-hander being counted on to fill a role in middle relief . . . Could also be a spot starter if needed and has the ability to really help the Bronchos this season . . . Picked up plenty of valuable experience last year as a junior college transfer and showcases superb control on the mound.

2008:  Pitched in 18 games, 16 of those in relief . . . Went 1-0 with an 8.51 earned run average while pitching 24 1/3 innings, striking out 19 . . . Picked up lone win in his first start, going a season-high five innings against eventual Lone Star Conference champion Abilene Christian . . . Started again the next week, getting a no-decision in a loss to East Central, and came on in relief for his last 11 appearances.

Juco:  Played two seasons at Redlands Community College, going 6-2 with a 4.06 ERA while striking out 56 batters in 48 2/3 innings as a sophomore.

High School:  Attended Bendigo Senior Secondary College in Bendigo, Australia . . . Played Australian Rules football and cricket.

Personal:  An industrial safety major . . . Birthdate is April 25, 1987.
