JUCO: Spent sophomore season at Colby Community College and earned All-Conference honors there ... Had 87 strikeouts in 60 1/3 innings of work and boasted a 3.58 ERA ... Struck out at least five batters eight times and produced three 10+ strikeout games.

High School: Prep standout at Henry Wisewood High School in Calgary, Alberta, Canada ... Made Canada U18 team and Alberta's U17 team ... Also played basketball.
