Biography

Right-handed junior pitcher with a chance to join the starting rotation this spring . . . Showcases great control on the mound and is capable of making a big impact . . . Transferred to UCO after two years at Paradise Valley (Ariz.) Community College.
 
Juco: Went 1-1 with a 4.01 earned run average in 42 2/3 innings as a freshman for the Pumas . . . Had a strong sophomore campaign last year, going 5-2 with a 3.61 ERA and just eight walks in 47 1/3 innings.
 
High School:  Four-year starter at Westview High School, earning first-team All-Region honors in the outfield as a senior after hitting .415 with seven home runs . . . Also a two-year starter in football at quarterback.
 
Personal:  Finance major . . . Lists the Minnesota Twins as his top team . . . Names Randy Houser as his favorite musician . . . Birthdate is Sept. 18, 1992.
