Senior leader and one of the premier offensive threats in the Lone Star Conference . . . Owns tremendous power and capable of driving the ball out of the park each time he steps in the batter’s box . . . Pure and talented hitter who has the tendency to find the gaps and leg out extra base hits . .  . Possesses blazing speed and is one of the most dangerous base stealers in the conference . . . Wields a gifted arm from the outfield, capable of cutting down potential base runners . . . Enjoyed a successful junior campaign and will again challenge for postseason recognition as a senior.
 

2007: Second-team Rawlings/ABCA All-South Central Region selection after batting .354 with 12 home runs and 48 RBI . . . Also honored as a second-team All-LSC North Division performer after ranking second in the conference in stolen bases (28) and third in both home runs (12) and slugging percentage (.665) . . . Finished third on the squad in RBI (48), total bases (107), fourth in on base percentage (.434)  and fifth in runs scored (47) and hits (57) . . . Named LSC North Division Hitter of the Week after batting a stellar .615 (8-of-15) with two home runs, eight RBI and four runs scored to lead the Bronchos to a pair of wins over nationally-ranked Abilene Christian . . . Named UCO’s lone representative on the LSC All-Tournament Team after batting .438 (7-for-16) with five RBI, four runs scored and two stolen bases . . . Drove home four runners on a two-run home run and a two-run double in season-ending loss to tournament champion Angelo State . . . Knocked in a season-high seven RBI on a grand slam, a two-run home run and a run-scoring double during 23-9 victory over University of Science & Arts of Oklahoma . . . Provided 20 multi-hit performances and registered a season-high three base hits on four occasions . . . Drove in multiple runners during 12 games, plating more than three RBI five times . . . Hit home runs in three straight contests with Abilene Christian and East Central . . . Thrown out attempting to steal once in 29 tries and notched multi-steal effort seven different games.    

2006: Redshirted after transferring from Northern Oklahoma College-Enid.

Juco: Two-year standout with the Jets . . . Earned third-team NJCAA All-American honors . . . Also named a NJCAA All-Region and All-District performer as a sophomore.

High School: Baseball standout at Norman High School . . . Honored as an honorable mention All-State pick as a senior . . . Tied the career home run mark at NHS with 22 long balls as a varsity starter.

Personal: A physical education/health major . . . Father (John) played football at the University of Oklahoma and brother (Justin) was a baseball star at UCO . . . Ranks Johnny Damon as his favorite athlete . . . Birthdate is Jan. 22, 1984.
