Biography

Returning letterman ready to help out at catcher once again . . . Saw limited action last year, but is more than capable of handling the position . . . Came to UCO after spending one year at Allen County (Texas) Community College.
 
2012:  Played in 14 games, mostly in a defensive role . . . Batted .167 with one hit in six at bats and didn’t make an error in 21 fielding chances.
 
Juco:  Batted .393 during 2011 season at Allen.
 
High School:  Baseball-basketball star at Ripley High School . . . Three-time All-Conference pick in baseball in helping the Warriors make three state tournament appearances . . . Two-time conference MVP and an All-Stater as a senior after hitting .457 . . . Also earned All-Conference honors twice in basketball.
 
Personal:  Physical education major looking to become a baseball coach . . . Enjoys hunting as his favorite hobby . . . Father (Donnie) was his high school baseball coach . . . Names the Boston Red Sox as his favorite professional team . . . Lists "*For Love of the Game" as his top sports movie . . . Birthdate is Dec. 10, 1990.
