Biography

Senior standout who ranks as one of the premier players in the Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association . . . Multi-talented veteran coming off a stellar junior campaign and is looking to take it to an even higher level this spring . . . Is slated to be the main second baseman after playing a variety of positions last year and will be a huge force for the Bronchos, both as a key offensive threat and quality defender . . . Came to UCO after a superb two-year career at Murray State College.
 
2014:  Saw starting time at three different positions, but earned first-team All-MIAA honors and second-team All-Central Region accolades by both the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association and the American Baseball Coaches Association at designated hitter . . . Played in 50 games while seeing starts at second base (20 games), DH (14) and left field (one) . . . Batted .400 with team-high 16 doubles, three triples and 37 runs batted in . . . Had 16 multi-hit games, including a string of four straight during one stretch . . . Drove in two-plus runs 11 times and had a trio of four-RBI outings . . . Ended the season with a nine-game hitting streak, batting .455 (15-for-33) with four doubles and seven RBI in that span . . . Had a .556 average (15-for-27) when leading off and drove in 18 two-out runs.
 
Juco: Helped lead the Aggies to the NJCAA Division II national championship in 2013, hitting .325 with 15 doubles, five homers, two triples and 57 RBI . . . Was named the conference tournament MVP after batting .529 with eight RBI.
 
High School:  Two-time All-District pick at Allen (Texas) High School, hitting .451 as a junior and .404 as a senior.
 
Personal:  Kinesiology major and member of UCO’s Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) . . . Father (Jason) and older brother (Michael) both played college baseball . . . Enjoys golf as a hobby . . . Names “Miracle on Ice” as his favorite sports movie . . . Birthdate is Feb. 18, 1993.
