Biography

Returning starter ready to maintain his position as UCO's top first baseman . . . Could also be used at third base or designated hitter after seeing action in both roles the past two years . . . Left-handed hitter capable of really helping the Bronchos offensively and an experienced junior ready to shine.

2009:  Started in 46 of 48 games played, hitting .255 with six home runs and 28 RBI . . . Had 10 multi-hit games, including three in a row early in the season . . . Opened the year with a five-game hitting streak, batting .381 (8-for-21) with eight RBI . . . Started 30 games at first base, nine at third and seven at DH.

2008:  Appeared in 29 games with 17 starts, all of those coming at third base . . . Finished with a .190 average that included two doubles, a triple, a home run and 10 RBI . . . Homer was a three-run shot in a win over East Central and had a pair of two-hit games.

High School:  Earned Edmond Sun All-City, Oklahoman Big All-City and All-State recognition as a senior at Edmond Memorial High School after batting .461 with two home runs and 40 RBI as a senior.

Personal:  A marketing major . . . Enjoys mountain bike riding and snowboarding among his favorite hobbies . . . Birthdate is Oct. 14, 1988.
