Veteran hurler expected to remain at the front end of the pitching rotation this spring . . . 2007: Transferred from Eastern Oklahoma College and registered a mark of 6-3 with an earned run average of 5.46 . . . Made 12 starts on the mound and ranked second among the squad in victories (six) . . . Claimed wins in his first two starts against Angelo State and West Texas A&M before tossing a complete-game gem with a season-high six strikeouts versus Texas A&M-Kingsville . . . Picked up win during start against Southeastern Oklahoma and notched victories in relief efforts over East Central and Cameron . . . Suffered a pair of tough 1-0 losses to Northeastern State, holding NSU to just two runs in 12 1/3 innings worked . . . Issued just 15 walks in a total of 64 1/3 innings pitched.

Juco: Two-time All-Region performer at Eastern Oklahoma College . . . Went 6-4 with an earned run average of 3.74 as a sophomore after going 7-1 with a 2.58 ERA as a freshman . . . Notched 17 saves and 113 strikeouts during his two-year career . . . Member of the Dean’s Honor Roll.

High School: Two-sport star at Lenape High School in Medford N.J. . . . All-Conference pick in baseball and also competed in football.

Personal: A physical education major . . . Enjoys golfing and working out . . . Birthdate is Dec. 12, 1985.
