Senior leader who should figure to be the staff ace this spring . . . Power pitcher who owns one of the top arms in the Lone Star Conference . . . Possesses the capability to take the ball in big games and produce dominating results . . . Strong right-hander who will give the Bronchos a quality effort each time he steps on the mound . . . Displays great control of all his pitches and does not hand out many free passes . . . Sat out several years after high school before spending  two seasons at St. Gregory's University before coming to UCO.

2005: Made an definite impact in his first season at UCO, earning first-team All-Lone Star Conference North Division honors after finishing with a 10-1 mark with an impressive 3.10 earned run average . . . Made 12 starts overall in which the Bronchos were 11-1 in games he pitched . . . Struck out a total of 62 batters while scattering just 63 hits in 69 2/3 innings worked . . . Tossed five complete games including three shutouts, highlighted by back-to-back shutout efforts against Abilene Christian and Angelo State where he worked 14 innings allowing just six hits while chalking up 13 strikeouts . . . Notched at least three strikeouts in 11 starts with season-high ten against Southeastern Oklahoma . . . Compiled a perfect 5-0 record with an 3.23 earned run average against LSC-North opponents . . . Limited right-handed batters to an overall batting average of .212 (46-of-217) . . . Picked up victory over West Alabama in the NCAA Division II South Central Regional allowing five hits and one earned run in six innings of work.

SGU: Played two years for NAIA member Cavaliers.

High School: All-District pitcher as a senior at Holtom High School in Fort Worth, Texas.
