Biography

Two-time All-Conference senior returner that looks finish his career in style ... Leader of the team both on the field and off ... Earned All-MIAA honors as a second baseman in 2016 before earning the honor again as an outfielder last season ... Has the ability to ding the ball for an extra-base hit, or smack the casual homer, but really thrives at just putting the ball in play ... With 20 career stolen bases, he showcases his speed on offense, but is just as valuable chasing down fly balls in right or center field.

2017: Earned All-MIAA honors for the second time in as many years after switching positions in the Broncho lineup ... Played in 56 games and started every one of them as a junior outfielder ... Also played DH four times ... Hit .309 on the season, putting the ball in play a team-high 71 times in 230 at bats ... His 230 at bats in one season is third-most in school history ... Led the team in hits, at bats, doubles (17), total bases (99), sacrifice flys (six), as well as strikeouts (45) ... Was second on the team with 42 runs scored and crossed the plate three times in one game on five different occasions ... Had an outstanding 5-for-6 game against Southwestern in February where he scored twice and had one RBI ... Also had a four-hit game including one RBI and two runs scored at Oklahoma Christian a week later ... Had a season-high eight-game hit streak twice last season ... Had 15 hits during the first eight-game streak, and 14 hits during the second ... Reached base in 46 of 56 games ... Also had eight stolen bases.

2016: Earned All-MIAA honors, receiving a third-team selection ... Hit .366 in 41 games including 67 hits, 14 doubles, three triples and eight home runs ... Collected four hits in a game four times during his sophomore season, against Pittsburg State, Lincoln, Northeastern State, and Nebraska-Kearney ... Stole 12 of 15 bases.
 
High School: Baseball-football standout at Westmoore High School ... Earned Oklahoman Big All-City and All-State accolades as a senior after hitting .454 with 20 doubles, a school-record eight home runs and 40 runs batted in ... Started at wide receiver on football team that made the state semifinals.
