Biography

Returning starter and senior veteran scheduled to be the main left fielder this spring . . . Has great speed and will be a defensive mainstay with his ability to cover plenty of territory in the field . . . Can also help out offensively, both at the plate and on the base paths . . . Came to UCO after playing one year each at Oklahoma and Seminole Junior College.
 
2014:  Played in 44 games with 28 starts – 16 in right field, 11 in left and one in center . . . Had a .351 average with four doubles, four home runs, three triples and 15 runs batted in while also swiping eight bases in nine attempts . . . Had eight multi-hit games, highlighted by 5-for-7 outing with two doubles, a triple and six RBI against Hillsdale Baptist . . . Drove in two-plus runs three times . . . Belted two solo homers in 3-for-5 game against Southwestern Christian . . . Hit .413 (19-for-46) in his last 15 games to raise average 57 points, from .294 to .351.
 
OU/Juco:  Saw limited action as a freshman for the Sooners before going to Seminole the next season . . . Batted .271 with 10 doubles and nine steals in helping the Trojans to a 39-18 record in 2013.
 
High School:  Three-time All-Conference selection at Glenpool High School, earning All-State honors as a senior . . . Had a remarkable .540 career average with 21 homers and 106 stolen bases in 108 attempts . . . Also lettered in football.
 
Personal:  Special education major looking to become a teacher and coach . . . Enjoys golf as a hobby . . . Names the Arizona Diamondbacks as his favorite team . . . Lists “Friday Night Lights” as his top sports movie . . . Birthdate is July 1, 1992.
