Multi-talented veteran and one of the premier players in the Lone Star Conference . . . Reigning LSC North Division Pitcher of the Year and one of the most dependable outfielders in the region . . . Expected to retain his hold on the top of the pitching rotation while patrolling center field when not on the mound . . . Left-handed arm who owns pristine control of all his pitches and rarely issues walks . . . 2007: LSC North Division Pitcher of the Year and second-team Rawlings/ABCA All-South Central Region selection after earning a record of 8-1 with an earned run average of 3.48 . . . Ranked fifth in the conference in ERA (3.48) and opposing batting average (.249) while leading the team in wins (eight), and complete games (five) . . . Two-time recipient of the LSC North Division Pitcher of the Week award . . . Claimed victories in his last seven straight outings, going the distance in the final four efforts which included a pair of nine inning performances . . . Surrendered one run or less in six starts and gave up less than a hit an inning, allowing 65 in 67 1/3 innings pitched . . . Posted a record of 6-0 with an ERA of 1.95 against LSC North Division opponents . . . Fired a complete-game, two-hit shutout with five strikeouts in 9-0 victory over Southwestern Oklahoma . . . Added wins versus Emporia State, Cameron, Northeastern State and beat Southwestern Oklahoma and East Central twice . . .
