Biography

Senior returner at catcher and one of the leaders of the UCO Bronchos ... Came to UCO last season after transferring from Texas A&M and made an immediate impact ... Played in 52 games, starting 47 ... He started 45 games behind the plate ... Helps his pitchers both with smarts behind the plate and his ability to put runs on the board with his bat ... Is looking to make a jump this season and be one of the better catchers in the league and help the Bronchos return to the national tournament. 

2017: Played in 52 games in his first season with the club ... Started 45 at catcher, two at designated hitter, and came in as a backup in five more games ... Was second on the team in both on-base percentage (.395) and RBIs (33) ... Was also fifth on the team in runs scored (22) ... Hit .304 and had one hit for every game he played in ... Had a 5-for-5 performance against No. 2 Central Missouri in March, smacking four singles and a double while tallying an RBI and one run scored ... Had two, three-hit games and 14 total multi-hit games ... Had five, three-RBI games and six total multi-RBI games ... Only hit two home runs, but had one triple and eight doubles ... Put the ball in the gaps of the outfield numerous times ... Added three stolen bases ... Threw out 12 runners trying to steal a bag and had a .727 stolen base allowed percentage, one of the best in the MIAA.

2016: Made four appearances for Texas A&M last season, and singled in his only at-bat.

High School: Three-time All-District performer from Boswell High School in Fort Worth, Texas ... Named All-District MVP as a senior in 2014.
