Biography

Hard-throwing senior standout ready to be the ace of the pitching staff . . . One of the top pitchers in the Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association and should vie for a myriad of post-season honors . . . Right-hander and intense competitor who will chew up lots of innings as the No. 1 starter this spring . . . Power pitcher capable of being a dominating force on the mound and is poised to finish his career in style . . . Came to UCO last year after spending two seasons at Vernon (Texas) College.

2015:  Second-team All-MIAA selection despite finishing a hard-luck 2-4 . . . Led the league in opponent batting average (.212) and was third in strikeouts with 88, which ranks seventh on UCO’s single-season list . . . Finished with a tidy 3.97 earned run average while leading the team in starts (12) and innings pitched (65 2/3) . . . Went at least five innings in nine starts and had two complete games . . . Fanned five-plus batters in 11 starts and had eight or more strikeouts six times . . . Struck out 10 while allowing four hits in five innings against Emporia State . . . Also had 10 strikeouts in tossing complete-game four-hitter against Lindenwood.
 
Juco:  Went 3-3 with 43 strikeouts in 47 innings as a sophomore at Vernon. . . Had a 4.75 ERA and fanned 59 batters in 66 1/3 innings during freshman season.
 
High School:  All-District MVP as a senior at Fossil Ridge High School after going 4-1 on the mound while also hitting .421 with 36 RBI.
