Biography

Senior transfer expected to help out in a relief role on the mound . . . Battled arm trouble last year at South Mountain (Ariz.) Community College, but is healthy now and should see plenty of action . . . Hard-throwing right-hander with ability to throw in the low 90s . . . Didn't play baseball in college for several years after graduating high school in 2006.

Juco:  Spent 2011 season at South Mountain, going 0-1 with a 4.91 earned run average in 14 games.

High School:  Played at Tulsa Memorial High School.

Personal:  A health major looking for a career as a firefighter or strength and conditioning coach . . . Names Michael Jordan as his favorite athlete . . . Enjoys hiking and fishing in his spare time . . . Birthdate is Sept. 18, 1987.
