Biography

Junior catcher coming off Tommy John surgery can really battle for time behind the plate when healthy ... Came to UCO from Carl Albert State College.
 
JUCO:  Two-year starter for the Vikings, making just three errors in 364 fielding chances . . . Had two miscues in 217 chances as a freshman while throwing out 16-of-37 base stealers . . . Made one error in 147 chances last year and threw out 10-of-21 base stealers.
 
High School:  Three-time All-Conference selection at Vian High School . . . Earned Conference Defensive Player of the Year honors twice and was MVP as a senior after hitting .404 with 43 runs batted in and a .997 fielding percentage.

Personal:  Industrial safety major . . . Enjoys bow-fishing as a hobby . . . Names the Turnpike Troubadours as his favorite musical group . . . Birthdate is Nov. 6, 1994.
