Biography

Talented infielder that took over the second base position for the Bronchos as a redshirt freshman and doesn't look to let go of it anytime soon ... Was one of the best hitters on the team in 2020 before the season was shut down ... Helped Central to a 17-3 record and a No. 12 ranking in the country ... Is quick on his feet around the infield and is good with his hands at the plate ... Used redshirt season to grow and hone his skills and put them to use right away last spring and now aims to make a name as a second-time redshirt freshman.

2020: Played in all 20 games and made 19 starts for the Bronchos in leading the team to a national ranking and the promise of a special season prior to shutdown ... Hit .360 to go with a .520 slugging percentage and a .444 on-base percentage ... Was a combined 27-for-75 with seven extra-base hits ... Had four doubles, two home runs and one triple ... Also had 15 RBIs and scored 13 runs ... Drew eight walks and was hit by a pitch five times ... Was 2-for-4 stealing bases in 20 games ... Ended the shortened season on a seven-game hit streak ... Recorded at least one hit in 15 games, had multiple hits in eight games, including a stretch of three-straight games with more than one hit ... Had a season-high three hits on three different occasions ... Reached base safely in 18 of 20 games ... Went 2-for-3 with three RBIs in first career game with the Bronchos, notching both a double and a home run in the win for UCO ... Also had three RBIs in a win over Southwestern Oklahoma State.

2019: Sat out redshirt season.

High School: Earned All-State honors from The Oklahoman following senior season at Deer Creek High School ... Hit .463 with 16 RBIs as a senior ... Also earned postseason accolades in standout junior season.

Personal: Kinesiology major ... Says ideal job is a physical therapist ... Lists the Oklahoma City Thunder as his top pro sports team ... Birthdate is March 1, 2000.
