In his first season as a volunteer assistant baseball coach for the University of Central Oklahoma is former Broncho Breck Draper.

Breck joined the Bronchos in February of 2019 and assists in hitting, as well as working with infield and catchers.

He starred on the field for Central Oklahoma from 2007-08, setting a school record with 42 career home runs. He still ranks among the school's best all-time hitters over 10 years after playing in his final game. Draper ranks second in all-time runs batted in (152), having the No. 2 & No. 6 best single season performances. In 2007, Breck belted 70 RBIs and 20 home runs. He hit 82 RBIs and 22 home runs during his final season in 2008.

Draper graduated from Shawnee high school in 2003. From there he went on to play collegiately at Hutchinson Community College (Kan.), and followed his Coach Jon Wente to Odessa College in 2005. After an arm injury in 2006 at Oklahoma State University, he finished his playing career at UCO. Draper played 3 seasons professionally from 2008 to 2010 with the Gateway Grizzlies of the Frontier League.

From 2013-2018 Draper was the head baseball coach at Heritage Hall in Oklahoma City. In his first year his team finished with 28 wins, which set a school record. They won back to back state championships in 2015 and 2016, and finished runner-up in 2017.

In 2016 Draper was named Oklahoma Coach of the Year by the NFHS, and also won the Ferguson Jenkins Coach of the Year Award that same year. His teams made the State Tournament four of the five years he coached there. His overall coaching record at the high school level was 154-36.

Breck and his wife Lauren reside in Oklahoma City and had a son, Ripken, in September of 2018.
