Biography

Returning starter who will vie for berth in the rotation again this spring . . . Hard-throwing southpaw and should benefit from last year’s experience . . . Came to UCO last season after spending one year each at Southwestern Oklahoma and Butler (Kan.) Community College.
 
2015:  Appeared in 11 games with eight starts, the second-most on the team . . . Also finished second in innings pitched (42 1/3) and strikeouts (36) in going 2-2 with a 6.80 earned run average . . . Fanned five-plus batters three times, with high of eight coming in win over league champion Missouri Southern during season-best six-inning outing.
 
SWOSU/Juco:  Pitched in six games as reliever for the Bulldogs in 2013, giving up just three hits and one run in 6.0 innings . . . Transferred to Butler the next season and went 4-2 with a 5.74 ERA for the Grizzlies, who finished 36-23 . . . Appeared in 12 contests and had three complete games in nine starts while striking out 42 in 53 1/3 innings.
 
High School:  Western Oklahoma Baseball Coaches Association All-Star selection as a senior at Hammon High School . . . Also earned 5 County All-Star honors in basketball.
