Biography

Sixth-year senior right-handed pitcher that brings experience in a starting role for the Bronchos ... Has the ability to give UCO a chance early with good arm ... Knows how to command the ball ... Competes with any lineup to keep his team in the game ... Utilizing eligibility extension after two seasons of junior college did not count against his time ... Transferred to UCO from Connors State College. 

2024: Made 15 appearances and started 14 games for the Bronchos as a fifth-year senior ... Went 6-2 on the mound with a 4.21 ERA in 66 1/3 innings of work ... Struck out 49 batters ... Opponents hit .244 against him ... Gave up 33 total runs, 31 of them earned, and walked 25 batters ... Longest outing was a 7.0 inning start against Fort Hays State ... Went at least 5.0 innings in eight appearances ... Gave up just one hit in four innings against Oklahoma Christian and none in one inning against Northeastern State ... Had three outings without surrendering a run ... Season high six strikeouts on three different occasions. 

2023: Made 13 appearances as a fourth-year junior and in his first season with the Bronchos … Started eight games … Threw 50 1/3 innings and finished the season with a 2-3 record and a 5.54 earned run average … Allowed 54 hits and 34 runs, 31 of which were earned … Walked 13 batters … Struck out 40 … Opponents hit .274 against him … Had a strikeout in 12 of 13 appearances and had at least two strikeouts in each of those games … Recorded three strikeouts twice, four strikeouts four times, and a season-high five strikeouts twice … Named to MIAA Honor Roll.

JUCO: Made three appearances, one start, as a freshman in canceled 2020 season ... Went 1-0 with eight strikeouts in 6 2/3 innings of work ... Made 11 appearances, six starts, as a second-year freshman in 2021 ... Went 5-0 with 32 Ks in 30 1/3 innings ... Made 14 appearances, seven starts, as a sophomore in 2022 ... Threw seven complete games and posted an 8-2 record ... Recorded 78 strikeouts in 78 innings pitched and posted a 3.48 ERA.
