Biography

Junior catcher that adds depth to the Broncho lineup and is looking to crack into the rotation this spring ... Solid glove and pitch-calling ability and should help UCO continue its trendy reputation of being a high-strikeout staff ... Transferred to UCO from Western Oklahoma State.

2020: Played in 10 games as a junior and made nine starts ... Hit a blistering .394, going 13-for-33 ... Had two doubles, one triple, and one home run ... Also scattered 14 RBIs and scored seven runs ... Hit .394 and had a .606 slugging percentage and a .500 on-base percentage ... Drew six walks and was hit by a pitch once ... Was 1-for-1 stealing bases ... Had at least one hit in his first five games as a Broncho ... Had a hit in 8 of 10 games and had four multi-hit games ... Went 2-for-3 against Northwestern Oklahoma State with a double and a triple, two RBIs and two runs scored ... Went 3-for-4 against Ouachita Baptist with a three-run home run ... Also went 2-for-4 with two RBIs against both East Central and Fort Hays State.

JUCO: Played 46 games as a sophomore and hit .313, with 42 total hits, eight doubles, one triple and nine home runs ... Played in 22 games during freshman season in 2018, hitting .189 with seven hits, one double, and two home runs.

High School: All-State selection out of Granite High School ... Hit over .500 with 11 homers ... Member of National Honor Society.

Personal: Enjoys hunting and fishing ... Names St. Louis Cardinals as his favorite sports team ... Birthdate is Aug. 26, 1998.
