Returning All-American, Lone Star Conference North Division Player of the Year and the centerpiece of the Broncho offense . . . Exhibits raw power in the batter’s box and is a threat to go deep each plate appearance . . . Super-utility player who will be used at pitcher, infield or catcher but is slated to see most of his time at first base . . . Potent run-producer who enters this season as one of the LSC’s most lethal offensive weapons . . . Coming off an outstanding junior season where he was ranked among NCAA Division II leaders in home runs and placed among the top-five in the conference in home runs, slugging percentage, RBI and total bases . . . Needs six home runs to break into the school’s all-time top-five list and 14 to break the record . . . Proven team leader who is expecting to end his career with a flourish and is an early favorite to contend for postseason recognition.

2007: Claimed numerous honors including a pair of All-American selections, Rawlings/ABCA South Central Region Player of the Year and LSC North Player of the Year after batting .353 with 20 home runs and 70 RBI . . .  Ranked first in the LSC in home runs (20) and slugging percentage (.737) while finishing second in RBI (70) and fourth in total bases (140) . . . His 20 home runs placed him among the top-10 in all of NCAA Division II baseball and totaled the second-most four baggers in a single-season at UCO while his 70 RBI placed him third on the single-season list . . . Team leader in home runs, RBI, total bases, slugging percentage and sacrifice flys (11) and ranked among the top-five in runs (52), hits (67) and at-bats (190) . . . Accumulated 18 multi-hit performances with a season-best mark of three five different times . . . Contributed 18 multiple-RBI efforts marked by a season-high six against Texas A&M-Kingsville . . . Drove in more than two runners on six separate occasions . . . Finished three consecutive weekend series with LSC South Division opponents Texas A&M-Kingsville, Eastern New Mexico and Abilene Christian at a clip of .447 (17-of-38) with three home runs and 24 RBI . . . Scorched LSC North Division pitchers for 11 home runs and 30 RBI and victimized East Central, Cameron and Southwestern Oklahoma for 10 of those home runs and 24 RBI combined . . . Homered in three straight games with Eastern New Mexico, University of Science & Arts of Oklahoma and Abilene Christian before contributing his lone multi-home run contest against Southwestern Oklahoma . . . Forced into starting catching duty early in the season and threw out 13-of-39 potential base stealers . . . Made two appearances on the mound and notched a record of 0-1 with one save while also seeing time at third base and first base.  


Oklahoma State: Came in as a transfer and made three appearances on the mound for the Cowboys.

Odessa College: Batted .377 with four home runs and 40 RBI to earn honorable mention Western Junior College Athletic Association All-Conference consideration.

Hutchinson CC: Hit .340 with seven home runs and 35 RBI to make first-team All-Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference Western Division as a freshman.

High School: Two-sport standout at Shawnee High School . . . All-Region and All-Conference pick on the baseball field . . . Two-time member of the Oklahoma Junior Sunbelt team . . . All-District wide receiver on the gridiron.

Personal: An advertising major . . . Enjoys golfing and fishing in his spare time . . . Ranks Pete Rose as his favorite athlete . . . Birthdate is Feb. 7, 1985.
