Biography

Multi-talented junior set to challenge for playing time at both catcher and third base . . . Played both positions during two-year career at Paris (Texas) Junior College and has the ability to shine at either spot this spring . . . Should also be a big threat at the plate with his offensive prowess.
 
Juco:  Batted .318 as a freshman for the Dragons before putting together a sensational sophomore campaign last year . . . Had the ninth-best batting average in the juco ranks at .431 with 12 doubles and 29 runs batted in . . . Was named to the Texas-New Mexico junior college All-Star team.
 
High School:  All-District shortstop at Wills Point (Texas) High School as well as the team’s offensive MVP . . . Also lettered in basketball.
 
Personal:  Physical education major looking to become a coach . . . Enjoys golf as a hobby . . . Names the Texas Rangers as his top team . . . Lists “For Love of the Game” as his favorite sports movie . . . Birthdate is April 8, 1994.
