Senior leader expected to retain his starting spot in right field this season . . . Speedster who knows how to get on base and make things happen at the top of the batting order, a fine all-around player who should be one of the top outfielders in the Lone Star Conference in 2009 . . . Also a quality defensive presence in the field with his ability to cover lots of ground and is primed for a banner final season.

2008: Came in as a junior college transfer and started most of the year, playing in 47 games with 42 starts . . . Started 31 games in right field while also getting five starts in center and five in left . . . Hit .312 on the season with eight doubles, three triples and 15 runs batted in while ranking second on the team in stolen bases with 17 . . . Also drew 22 walks and had a team-high eight sacrifice bunts . . . Had 14 multi-hit games, highlighted by a 4-for-6, three-run outing in a wild 19-17 win over Cameron . . . Put together hitting streaks of eight and nine games, batting .441 (15-for-34) with 15 runs in the nine-game streak . . . Made just two errors in 73 chances.

Juco:  Two-year standout at junior college powerhouse Cowley County (Kan.) Community College . . . Batted .387 (67-for-173) with one homer and 27 RBI to help lead Cowley to the Region VI championship and a berth in the NJCAA World Series as a sophomore . . . Stole 33-of-38 bases over a two-year span.

High School:  All-State selection as a senior at Putnam City High School and earned All-Tournament recognition during the Oklahoma Sunbelt Classic . . . Also lettered in football.

Personal:  A business major . . . Birthdate is Feb. 23, 1985.
