Biography

Senior slugger ready to be the top first baseman this spring after seeing most of his action in the outfield last year . . . Has the power to be an offensive catalyst for the Bronchos as a prime run-producer . . . UCO needs for this veteran strongman to perform and he's set for a big senior season.

2011:  Hammered a team-high 10 home runs while driving in 27 runs and batting .250 . . . Played in 40 games with 34 starts, 31 of those coming in right field and the other three at designated hitter . . . Batted .500 (9-for-18) with three home runs, two doubles and eight RBI during a season-opening five-game hitting streak, capping that run with a 4-for-5, three-RBI outing in 12-10 win over Oklahoma Christian . . . Had eight multi-RBI games and five multi-hit contests . . . Smacked solo homer in top of 10th inning to give UCO a 9-8 road win over Science and Arts of Oklahoma . . . Drove in a season-high four runs with a three-run homer and bases-loaded walk in 11-8 win over Cameron . . . Went 3-for-5 with homer, double and three RBI in 14-7 victory over Arkansas Tech.

Juco:  Spent two seasons at perennial power Seminole State College . . . Hit .300 with eight home runs, five doubles, one triple and 21 runs batted in as a sophomore in 2010.

High School:  Local product of Edmond Santa Fe High School.

Personal:  A business major . . . Names the Chicago White Sox as his favorite professional team . . . Lists “Bull Durham” as his top sports movie . . . Birthdate is July 31, 1990.
