Biography

Right-handed senior hurler with unique side-arm style who will probably be used in relief . . . Returning letterman who should benefit from last year’s experience  . . . Came to UCO after two years at Labette (Kan.) Community College.
 
2012:  Saw action in 13 games, all in relief . . . Finished 1-0 with an 8.56 earned run average while striking out 16 batters in 13 2/3 innings . . . Picked up lone win with season-high 2 1/3-inning outing against Northwest Missouri . . . Struck out at least one in 12 of 13 appearances and fanned the only batter he faced three times.
 
Juco:  Played two years at Labette, earning first-team All-Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference honors as a sophomore for the Cardinals.
 
High School:  All-Conference and All-State performer as a senior at Claremore High School.
 
Personal:  Kinesiology major . . . Father (Mitch) played baseball at Oklahoma State and in the minor leagues for the Houston Astros organization, while brother (Zac) played at Oklahoma City University . . . Names the Atlanta Braves as his favorite professional team . . . Lists “Little Giants” as his top sports movie . . . Birthdate is Nov. 21, 1990.
