Biography

Senior returner looking to build on closer form he had in junior season ... Left-hander with big upside ... Came to UCO after two years at Butler County (Kan.) Community College.

2016: Made 14 appearances for the Bronchos, throwing 20 innings and boasting a 1.35 ERA ... Struck out 32 batters and allowed just nine hits all season ... Struck out a season-high five batters on April 20 against rival-Northeastern State ... Struck out four against Washburn on April 28.

JUCO:  Struck out 18 batters in 13 2/3 innings as a freshman for the Grizzlies ... Came back last year and fanned 19 in 19 innings.

High School:  Three-time All-District pick at Grove High School, earning District 5A-3 Pitcher of the Year honors as a senior.

Personal:  Kinesiology/fitness management major who made the Dean’s Honor Roll at Butler and last fall at UCO ... Names the Texas Rangers as his favorite team ... List “Major League” as his top sports movie ... Birthdate is Sept. 10, 1994.
