Biography

Two-year letterman and senior pitcher set to work relief for the third straight year . . . Veteran left-hander eager to finish his career with a flourish . . . Came to UCO after two years Fort Scott (Kan.) Community College.
 
2015:  Went 1-1 with an 8.74 earned run average while appearing in 10 games with one start . . . Had 11 strikeouts in 11 1/3 innings . . . Made first career start with the Bronchos against Arlington Baptist and gave up just two hits in career-high five innings to earn the win . . . Was named to the MIAA Academic Honor Roll.
 
2014:  Pitched 4.0 innings in three appearances, going 2-0 with a 0.00 ERA . . . Struck out five and allowed just one hit in limited work . . . Earned first win with one inning of relief help against Arlington Baptist . . . Started and threw two no-hit innings against Southwestern Christian to pick up second win.
 
Juco:  Appeared in 11 games and had 29 strikeouts in 26 2/3 innings as a freshman for the Greyhounds in 2012 before redshirting the next year.
 
High School:  Prep standout at long-time powerhouse Chandler High School, helping lead the Lions to four straight state tournament appearances  . . . Two-time All-Conference selection and MVP as a senior after going 11-2 on the mound . . . Also lettered in basketball.
 
Personal:  Industrial safety major . . . Enjoys hunting as a hobby . . . Names “Space Jam” as his top sports movie . . . Lists George Strait as his favorite musician . . . Birthdate is March 19, 1992.
