Biography

Returning All-American and senior captain who ranks among the top defenders in the country . . . Has been a fixture for the Bronchos the last two years in starting all 43 games and will once again lead a stout backline . . . Covers the entire field and is also a scoring threat with her powerful leg . . . Spent one season at Division I Tulsa and then sat out a year before coming to UCO in 2013.

2014:  Earned NSCAA/Continental Tire second-team All-America honors after a standout campaign that saw her marshal a defense that gave up just 13 goals and posted a school-record 15 shutouts . . . Also garnered first-team All-Central Region and first-team All-MIAA  laurels . . . Scored lone goal of the season in 3-1 win over Southwestern Oklahoma . . . Provided assists in victories over Washburn, Missouri Southern and Augustana . . . Named to the MIAA Academic Honor Roll and received the Scholar-Athlete Award . . . Was the only player to start all 22 games.

2013:  Scored nine points (three goals, three assists) in garnering honorable mention All-MIAA recognition . . . Tallied regular season goals in wins over Oklahoma Christian and Nebraska-Kearney while adding a score in overtime loss to Southwest Baptist in finals of the league tourney . . . Had assist on lone goal in 1-0 win over Texas Woman’s and also helped in scores against Midwestern State and Northwest Missouri . . . Was one of just two players to start all 21 games.

 
2012:  Sat out the season.
 
TU:  Appeared in eight games with two starts in 2011 for the Golden Hurricane.
 
High School:  Put together a sensational career at Heritage High School in leading the team to a 65-19-13 record . . . Four-time All-District pick and an All-Stater as a senior after scoring nine goals and adding an assist . . . Also led her Dallas-area club team to a national championship.
 
Personal:  Nursing major . . . Names “She’s the Man” as her favorite sports movie . . . Birthdate is Nov. 1, 1992.
