Biography
Versatile senior set to reclaim starting berth at shooting guard after missing most of last season to injury . . . Was the team’s leading scorer before tearing ACL in the 11th game and has worked hard to get back on the court . . . Fantastic athlete and fierce competitor whose return will give the Bronchos a big boost, both on and off the court . . . Owns great work ethic and is a sensational outside shooter ready to again be a top offensive option . . . Started career at conference rival Missouri Southern before coming to UCO in 2012-13 and sitting out a redshirt year on the court . . . Was a key reserve for the softball team in 2013 and ‘14.
2014-15: Was averaging a team-high 11.3 points a game before going down with season-ending injury late in the 11th contest at Central Missouri . . . Added 2.6 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 1.8 steals a game while shooting 46.4 percent from the floor and 82.4 percent from the line . . . Had five games with 10-plus points, topped by career-high 24-point outing against Arkansas-Fort Smith after hitting 8-of-10 shots with four 3-pointers and 4-of-4 free throws . . . Pulled down career-best eight rebounds against Texas Woman’s . . . Made at least one trey in 10 of 11 games played, draining four twice . . . Was named to the MIAA Academic Honor Roll.
2013-14: Appeared in all 28 games with 18 starts, including the first 15 of the season . . . Averaged 6.4 points, 2.1 rebounds and 1.0 steals a game while making 35 3-pointers . . . Started strong and was averaging 11.8 points after the first eight games of the season, scoring in double figures six times during that opening stretch . . . Had 18-point outings against Arkansas-Fort Smith and Lindenwood, making six treys in each game . . . Played back-up role for UCO softball team that went 41-17 and made the national tournament.
2012-13: Redshirted in basketball and then joined the softball team . . . Appeared in 28 games as a pinch-runner and scored 12 runs to help UCO win the NCAA Division II national title.
MSSU: Averaged 8.3 points and 2.6 rebounds a game as a freshman for the Lions in 2011-12 while playing in 26 games with 15 starts . . . Had a pair of 23-point outings.
High School: Multi-sport star at Luther High School . . . Four-time All-Conference pick in basketball . . . Averaged 24.7 points a game as a junior and had a school-record 50-point game during senior season . . . Won two state track titles in the 100-meter hurdles and one in the long jump while finishing as state runner-up in four other events during her career . . . Also a two-time All-Conference selection in softball.
