Biography
Vital team leader and returning starter ready to fill the No. 1 point guard role again this season . . . Came back from knee injury to earn starting berth last year and excels at running the offense with her court savvy and quickness . . . Gets down the floor in a hurry and won’t hesitate to take the ball to the bucket . . . 2014-15: Appeared in all 30 games with 27 starts, averaging 4.7 points, 2.8 rebounds and 2.7 assists a game . . . Scored in double figures once, going for a career-high 15 against Pittsburg State after making 5-of-7 shots with two 3-pointers and three free throws . . . Dished out at least four assists in nine games, tying a career-high with eight in win over Arkansas-Fort Smith . . . Averaged 5.0 assists over the last four games of the season . . . Was named to the MIAA Academic Honor Roll.
2013-14: Averaged 2.8 points, 2.5 assists and 1.4 rebounds while playing in the first 20 games with three starts . . . Scored season-high eight points with five assists in win over Texas A&M-Commerce . . . Had five-plus assists four times, topped by career-best eight-assist outing in just 18 minutes against Lincoln . . . Had seven points, five assists and two steals in win over Missouri Western.
2012-13: Played in 25 games with one start as a true freshman . . . Averaged 2.1 points, 1.8 assists and 1.4 rebounds a game while shooting a solid 46.7 percent from the field . . . Played season-high 26 minutes in start against Northeastern State, finishing that game with five points, two rebounds and two assists . . . Dished out four assists and added four rebounds in home win over Lincoln . . . Also ran track for the Bronchos, earning medals in several meets in the 100- and 400-meter hurdles.
High School: Basketball-track star at Alvord (Texas) High School . . . District MVP and Class 2A All-State selection as a junior and senior on the hardcourts and a multiple state champion in track . . . Won back-to-back 100- and 300-meter titles her final two years, setting the Class 2A state record in the 100 as a senior on state runner-up team.
