Returning starter at first base and the odds-on favorite to retain his position atop the depth chart . . . One of the tallest players on the team at 6-foot-3 and a powerful senior veteran who the Bronchos will be looking to for increased run production . . . Should benefit from the experience gained last year and is poised for a banner season . . . Transferred to UCO after strong two-year career at Eastern Oklahoma College.

2013:  Had a .286 average with nine doubles, four home runs and 30 runs batted in . . . Played in 45 games with 40 starts, all of those at first base . . . Had seven multi-hit and six multi-RBI games and put together a pair of six-game hitting streaks . . . Drove in six runs with a double and homer in 20-13 win over Washburn . . . Finished 5-for-12 (.417) with two doubles, two homers and nine RBI in three-game sweep of the Ichabods . . . Hit .413 (19-for-46) with runners in scoring position . . . Had a .988 fielding percentage, committing just four errors in 335 chances.

Juco:  Helped lead EOC to back-to-back Region II championships . . . Had a .303 average with seven homers, six doubles and 30 RBI as a freshman . . . Hit .353 with nine doubles and 25 RBI his sophomore season.

High School:  All-District pick as a senior at Hartshorne High School after batting .490 with seven homers . . . Also an All-Conference selection in football and a basketball letterman.

Personal:  Biology major . . . Enjoys playing golf as a hobby . . . Lists the Oklahoma City Thunder as his favorite team . . . Names “Happy Gilmore” as his top sports movie . . . Birthdate is Jan. 20, 1992.
