Senior standout back to fill the starting role in left field for the second straight year . . . Gritty, hard-nosed player and an intense competitor who makes things happen with his ability to get on base . . . Ready to be the main lead-off hitter once again and also a top-notch defender . . . Played two years at Eastern Oklahoma College before coming to UCO.

2013:  Started all 49 games and was the team’s second-leading hitter with a .348 average in earning honorable mention All-Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association honors . . . Was hit by pitch an NCAA Division II record-tying 41 times and finished with a sensational .512 on-base percentage that ranked 12th-best in the country . . . Had 11 doubles, seven home runs and 29 runs batted in while also leading the team in runs scored (52) . . . Had 15 multi-hit games, highlighted by four-hit, three-RBI outing against Northwest Missouri . . . Reached base in 21 consecutive games during one stretch and had four hitting streaks of five-plus games. . . Was hit by pitch at least twice in 12 of the 26 games he was plunked and got hit four times against Emporia State . . . Finished the season on a tear, batting .467 (14-for-30) in the last nine games while hitting safely in eight of those nine.

Juco:  Two-year starter who helped lead the Mountaineers to consecutive regional titles . . . Batted .275 with four doubles and 19 RBI and as a freshman . . . Hit .310 with 38 runs scored, 20 RBI and 10 steals in 2012.
